Andrew Marshall is an adventurer, photographer, filmmaker, journalist, painter, essayist, and poet. Maybe just shorter to call him a storyteller. He works remotely from all over the country, but is primarily based in the southeast and mountain southwest.

His written work has been published or is forthcoming in Upventur, The Offbeat Magazine,, Gravel Magazine, Trampset Magazine, The Raven's Perch, Junto Magazine, and the West Texas Literary Review.

Recent commercial video and photography clients include Western New Mexico University, Sessions Climbing and Guiding, Upventur,, The Sustainability Institute, the North American Montessori Teachers' Association, and Great Work Inc..

Andrew's fine art photography has shown in galleries across the country and his images have been selected four times for appearance in National Geographic's online "Your Shot" feature. He is currently planning a show of his GROUNDWORK series in conjunction with skyskape artist Margalina Lepore in July of 2018.

Andrew is a long distance backpacker, paddler, mountain biker, cyclist, and beginning climber. He has currently logged nearly 3,000 trail miles. He has very tired feet.

Andrew has a broad knowledge of video production from inception to completion. He worked with us on three different projects and was excellent in organizing and coordinating shoots on the fly and very intuitive and skilled in sound editing and post production.

His ability to prioritize and organize project workloads included meeting strict deadlines and objectives coupled with his ongoing enthusiasm and creativity. Andrews excellent organizational talents improved project productivity and efficiency while reducing costs. He was able to produce three outstanding videos in a day long shoot, quite a remarkable feat.

Andrew Marshall has an intensity and focus I’ve seldom encountered. His artistry involves humour, complete commitment, an eye for tiny detail while creating giant imagery simultaneously. He listens deeply, and forms a story of flow and integration - even through the mother of all storms in the Western Cape of South Africa! Making a complex tale of multiple levels is not easy, and he did this with deceptively quiet ease.

Andrew Marshall created the most beautiful video about the Montessori continuum at Forest Bluff School! We are very impressed with Andrew’s work and hope he will do more videos for us in the future.
